The Changing of the Horse Guard takes place every weekday at 11 a.m. and at 10 a.m. on Sundays, and it is performed by the Queen's Life Guard in the Horse Guard Parade. Horse Guards fronts Horse Guards Parade, the vast parade ground where the Queen takes the salute at the Trooping of The Colour ceremony on her official birthday.The Household Cavalry rides from Hyde Park, via The Mall, to Whitehall for the changeover.

For those who want to visit the Changing, the address is the following: Whitehall, London SW1. I recommend going just 30 minutes before to take a good place. As this event is not as well know as The Change of the Guard at Buckinham Palace, people is not such an important issue. An important drawback is that the ceremony lasts 45 minutes approximately, and it's not very moving.
